Cases are items that contain loot, but must be unlocked with keys.
Contents
Tier 1
Electronic Key
Tier 1 cases are opened with Electronic Keys. They can be purchased from Ascorti in Redding, or Paul in Las Vegas
Science case
Science cases drop t3 blueprints, materials, and have a chance to drop Wattz Fusion Cores.
Drug case
Drug cases drop t3 drugs, and have a chance to drop Hypo and Med Tec Anitdote.
Bank case
Bank Cases drop currency (around 100k+ in various Currencies, and have a chance to drop gold coins.
Tier 2
Vault-Tec Key
Vault-Tec keys are used to open tier 2 cases. They can be acquired from traders in New Reno when a world event adds them to their inventory.
They are also loot from Renesco Secret Shelter
Vault-Tec Case
Vault-Tec cases drop tier 3 Weapons and Armor and have a chance to drop tier 4 blueprints, implants, vertibird parts, tier 4 ammo.
NCR Case
NCR cases drop the same as Vault-Tec cases except the tier 4 blueprint comes from a pool of:
- Browning Auto Rifle
- Bozar
- Saiga-12
- H&K G11
- Steyr
Enclave Case
Enclave cases drop the same as Vault-Tec cases except the tier 4 blueprint comes from a pool of Advanced Power Armor, Adv. Power Armor MKII, YK42B Pulse Rifle, Plasma Gatling, H&K G11E
Vault-City Case
Vault-City cases drop the same as Vault-Tec cases except the tier 4 blueprint comes from a pool of Plasma Torch, Electro Cannon, Turbo Plasma Rifle, Commisar's Pistol, PPK12 Gauss Pistol
Brotherhood Case
Brotherhood cases drop the same as Vault-Tec cases except the tier 4 blueprint comes from a pool of Power Armor, Hardened Power Armor, Vindicator Minigun, M202A1 FLASH, Mega Sledge
Master Army Case
Master Army cases drop the same as Vault-Tec cases except the tier 4 blueprint comes from a pool of Stealth Armor, Stealth Armor MKII, AK-47, Napalm blaster, M72 Gauss Rifle
Tier 3
High-Tech encrypted Key
High-Tech encrypted keys can be used to open tier 3 cases. They drop from tier 6 dungeons.
Black Cross Case
Black Cross cases drop random extra stats, and have a chance to drop a random tier 4 part
Technical Case
Technical cases drop random tier 4 blueprints, and have a chance to drop a random tier 4 part
Mad Scientist Case
Teleports you to a random base, has a chance to kill you
Lockpicking
All cases can be picked with electronic lockpicks, but the picks have a chance to break.
