Item luck

Item luck increases the chance that perks on a weapon or armor will be higher rank.

Notes:

Perks from rare parts and Wattz cores are not affected by item luck

Sources of Item luck

According to patch 6.0

• perk obtained by Player in Rockside: +100
• perk obtained by Player: +10
• perk obtained by Player by installing part: +20
• perk obtained by Player by installing wattz core: +15
• perk obtained by Player by rerolling perk: +20
• perk obtained by Player by his Luck: +1 per luck
• perk obtained by Player by his Scroungers: +1 per Scrounger
• perk obtained by Player looting dungeon/contract locker: 5xtier
• perk obtained by Player looting case: +30
• perk obtained by Player during war event: +20
• perk obtained by Player for each reset, base on tier +20/50/100/150/200/500
• Utility armor perk +10 (need to confirm if this applies to all items or only the one it's on)
• perk obtained by Craft in bases: -5
• perk obtained by Craft in public: +10
• perk obtained by trader event: +5
• perk obtained by trader refill: -20
• perk obtained by NPC Patrol: -10
• perk obtained by NPC Dungeon: -30
• perk obtained by NPC Other: -50
• perk obtained by other way: -100

Reseting perks

You can reset the perks on an item with level 6 perks (a legendary perk) by using the command `~resetperks`. This also fully repairs the item.

Perk rank chance

It is not yet known exactly how much luck gives what chance at each rank of gear perks. But, Komp has provided the following table with the tiers. Raising your item luck moves you up the tiers, but exact numbers are not known.
