Cases are items that contain loot, but must be unlocked with keys.
Contents
Tier 1
Electronic Key
Tier 1 cases are opened with Electronic Keys. They can be purchased for 10k currency from Ascorti in Redding, or Paul Tibbett in Las Vegas.
Warning:The key is one use only, since it is consumed when you open a case with it.
Science case
Science cases have a chance to drop t3 blueprints, or nothing.
Drug case
Drug cases drop t3 drugs, and have a chance to drop Hypo and Med Tec Anitdote.
Bank case
Bank Cases drop currency. Up to 100k+ in various Currencies (but can be less than 5k), and have a chance to drop gold coins.
Tier 2
Vault-Tec Key
Vault-Tec keys are used to open tier 2 cases. They can be acquired from traders Renesco and Ed in New Reno when a world event New Reno Key provided adds them to their inventory.
They are also loot from Renesco Secret Shelter.

Vault-Tec cases drop tier 3 Weapons and Armor and have a chance to drop tier 4 blueprints, implants, vertibird parts, tier 4 ammo and rare items.
NCR Case
NCR cases drop the same as Vault-Tec cases except the tier 4 blueprint comes from a pool of:

High-Tech encrypted Key
High-Tech encrypted keys can be used to open tier 3 cases. They drop from tier 6 dungeons.
Black Cross Case
Black Cross cases drop random extra stats, and have a chance to drop a random tier 4 part
Technical Case
Technical cases drop random tier 4 blueprints, and have a chance to drop a random tier 4 part
Mad Scientist Case
Teleports you to a random base, has a chance to kill you
Lockpicking
All cases can be picked with electronic lockpicks, but the picks have a chance to break.
