Uses
Mining machines can be bought and placed in your base. They will passively generate ore and minerals over a week long period. After that they stop producing resources and must be removed via science like and other base creation. It costs 10 engineering skill to place a junk machine.
Obtaining
You can obtain the junk machine from The Hub. There is a high tech terminal in the market next to the bank and the book store. To place it, go back to you base, stand where you want it, then use the chat command `~base` and select the option to place it
