The Combat Knife is an improved Knife.

Uses
This knife is meant for combat, and is capable of dealing excellent damage if you have ample Melee skill. Combined with a fair amount of knockdowns, and cripples against an enemy, this weapon proves quite deadly, even against tougher NPC mobs.
The Combat knife can also be used to cut plants to harvest Fibers.

One of the most common melee weapons found in public location, dungeons, and encounters.
