Map Scouting

Template:PerkYou have an improved ability to see distant locations, allowing you to reveal one extra World Map square in each direction as you travel. Scout is a support perk.

Map Scouting allows you to see the pool of random encounters that have a chance of occurring on any world map square you have revealed. Works best in conjunction with Ranger.

Where to obtain (Spoiler)

You can learn Map Scouting from Sergeant Stark, who can be found in New Vault City. He'll only talk to you during daytime. Your Intelligence needs to be at least 4; Mentats combined with Roentgen Rum should do the trick.
