Cooldowns are special timeouts that prevent a player's character from performing specific actions. Current cooldown timeouts can be seen in bottom-right part of the screen by default, or in the Pip-Boy's Status page.
Major Cooldowns
- Replication cooldown - delays respawn after death for 60 seconds. This can be reduced by 1 second per intelligence and by 15 seconds with 2 Tactical Chip installed.
- Exit game cooldown - 3 minutes timeout before character disappears after logging out from game. Note that your character will not disappear if you log out inside an unguarded mine.
- Battle cooldown - prevents your character from running away outside a map while being hit in Real-Time Combat.
Skills with Cooldowns
- Steal - may be shortened with the Master Thief support perk.
- Lockpick
- Repair
- Doctor
- First Aid - may be shortened with the Medic perk.
Doctor Cooldown:
350 seconds as base for injuries -1 second for 1% doctor skill (no cap) /3 if you have the Medic level Perk
10 seconds cooldown to remove 25 slow
First Aid Cooldown: 245 seconds as base -1 second by 1% skill(capped at 200) /3 if you have Medic Perk
