Events are time-limited optional activities that players can choose to participate in.
They offer exceptionally good rewards, but there is often a catch; for example, trader events can only have one "winner."
FOnline 3 Discord Server has a channel dedicated to event tracking, #eventlog.
Contents
New Reno Wars
New Reno Wars is a daily event that runs on a set schedule, see the main article for more information.
War Events
War Events happen on most weekends, see the main article for more information.
Experience events
At least once a week, experience gains get boosted for a limited time. If you're able to catch one of those events, make sure to take full advantage.
The event boost stacks with Rockside's regular patch-based boost.
High-tier dungeon openings
Renesco's Secret Shelter, Vault X, Vault 13, Sierra Army Depot, Oil Rig, and Lost Hill display a server message whenever someone accesses them.
If you're feeling lucky, you have 60 minutes to try and contest the dungeon.
Hidden treasure
Approximately four times a day, a "treasure" (T1 dungeon locker) spawns in one of the unguarded towns. You have 15 minutes to try and claim it before someone else does.
Incredible treasures
2-3 times a day, a random dungeon gets a boost: its lockers spawn five times the normal loot and its inhabitants give extra XP and drop additional items for the duration of the event.
PvP events
Whenever a faction tries to take control over an area, a global timer starts.
Trader events
From time to time, a global message may pop up informing the players that a specific trader in a specific location has a specific item for sale. If the message identifies the trader as "some trader," it means that it's a faction trader that requires 300 points of their associated faction's reputation to trade with.
There is only one item available per event (first come, first served) and it can only be purchased using the local currency before the time runs out (trader events typically last 10-15 minutes). The pool that the item is chosen from depends on the current patch, see the loot table for details.
New Reno keys
Approximately once an hour, a Vault-Tec Key is added to the inventory of either Eldridge or Renesco (sometimes both), accompanied by a briefly displayed global message that says "New Reno Key provided."
The keys cost 100,000 local currency each and can be used to open tier II cases.
GM events
GM events are organized by individual GMs and can be anything. Examples include free case openings and auctions.
Rockside events
Rarely, FOnline 3's "tutorial" location may experience a special event of its own. Typically, such events enable access to Advanced Workbench, implant installation, and other services normally unavailable to Rockside residents.
Danger zone
Every couple hours, players receive reports of dangerous activity in a specific zone. If you go there and manage to defeat the boss, you'll receive a special 24-hour buff.

Crashed vehicles
About twice a day, a global message pops up informing the players about a crashed vehicle.
The event location is marked on the world map with a red dot. It contains one T1 dungeon locker, and the NPCs there have a 1% chance to drop an Advanced Shell.
