Reroll
Reroll is a feature that allows you to recreate a character so that its Levels are retained for reuse by a new character. Reroll its a recreate your character with different, S.P.E.C.I.A.L., skills, perks, traits, implants.
On Reroll you not losing anything, you keep all discovered locations, you keep War Event Bonuses they shows as books in inventory after Reroll, you got return of implants and you get a tokens for free installation and skill books.
To Use
To perform reroll a character, use the ~reroll command while at tent/house/base.
Rerolling cost a certain amount of any currency with the base cost of level * 1000 Currency. However, if you have barter skill of at least 150, total reroll cost will always be just 10000 Currency, regardless of your level.
Important information about reroll is:
- If you have more currency in inventory, than need for reroll - rest will gone with reroll, so keep exact amount of currency. - If you need to go from base before you finish reading leveling book - dont forget leave book at base, before you go. If you lost it - it lost. - You can increase gain of skill points per book by temporary buffs such as drugs and Armor Perks. Take mentats, Roentgen Rum and armor with Gain Intelligence perks on it. Also you can take Educated support perk, after reroll. (10 books or 151% max) - Don't forget pick perks every 3 levels or they will gone. - if you gain a level while you still haven't finished reading leveling book, you won't be able to continue reading it and will have to reroll again. That could happen with some Support Perks, as their respective quest gives XP.
IMPORTANT if you reroll into Chosen One, stop your reroll at 30, leave your level book in base and go to Klamath to pick chosen one and perks on place or it will be lost
IMPORTANT if you reroll into Cyborg, do not install implants with token or currency or it will be lost after next reroll
Typical reroll process looks like:
- take currency - type ~reroll and choose new special, traits - get your implants, books and leveling book back - for faster reading use ctrl + left mouse button - also don't forget to use Mentats unless you are Gifted - buff you intelligence and read scout and science books - drop all books at base and go to Therese in the basement of the Boneyard Library for educated perk. You need Intelligence 8, Science 100% - go back to base, and start reading it, keeping level perks every 3 levels - take Class Perks - take remaining levels. After you took Class Perks remaining levels will get in one click - for quick add PvE perks type ~pve
